Answer: Green vegetables , milk and milk products , sweets, meat, and other wet food products decay ( spoil ) soon .

Answer:- Dry grains wheat, rice, maize, pearl millet and pulses remain safe for many months and do not decay ( spoil ) soon.
Question 3. Why is it necessary to boil milk?
Answer: To kill harmful bacteria and preserve it for some time, it is necessary to boil milk .

Answer: I have eaten amla, apple, carrot and cherry murabba.

Answer: To see change in colour of the food and a bad smelling , we come to know that food is not fit for eating.

Answer: Milk, green vegetables, fruits, meat, bread etc. can be kept in the fridge for preservation.

Answer: I liked the method in which grains are dried in sun and stored in drum.
Question 8. Why is the use of poisons harmful to preserve the pulses?
Answer: The protein in pulses absorb the poison very fast . When we consume these pulses the poison reaches our body. So it is very harmful to to use of poisons to preserve the pulses.
Question 9. Why are fruits and vegetables kept in cold stores?
Answer: In cold stores there are very huge refrigerators and also temperature is more below than the normal fridge temperature. At low temperature, fruits and vegetables remain fresh for long time. Therefore, we store vegetables in a cold store.
